Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill Anime 2nd Season Announced

The team behind the television adaptation of Ren Eguchi and illustrator Masa's "Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill" light novel series excitedly announced the production of a second season for the anime. To commemorate this news, Masa, the original novel's illustrator, along with manga artists K Akagishi and Momo Futaba, joined the anime's director, Kiyoshi Matsuda, in creating illustrations.

The initial season made its debut through exclusive streaming on Amazon Prime Video and Hikari TV in Japan on January 10 at 11:45 p.m. It later aired on TV Tokyo and various channels on January 10 at 24:00 (January 11 at midnight or January 10 at 10:00 a.m. EST). Concurrently, Crunchyroll provided the series for streaming as it aired in Japan.

Kiyoshi Matsuda, known for works like "RE-MAIN," "Kakegurui season 2," and "Uchitama?! Have you seen my Tama?," directed the inaugural season at MAPPA. The series scripts were overseen by Michiko Yokote, acclaimed for contributions to series like "Cowboy Bebop," "Rurouni Kenshin," "xxxHOLiC," and "Shirobako." The original character designs by Masa were adapted for animation by Nao Ōtsu ("BEASTARS" both seasons). Musical composition was undertaken by Masato Kōda ("KonoSuba – God’s blessing on this wonderful world!!," "Domestic Girlfriend"), Kana Utatade ("KanadeYUK"), and Kuricorder Quartet ("tsuritama").
