Spearheading this exciting revival is Dan Schkade, a talented Eisner-nominated cartoonist in his early 30s, renowned for his outstanding contributions to comics like "Will Eisner’s The Spirit Returns," "Lavender Jack," and "Saint John."

Schkade emerged victorious in a highly competitive audition earlier this year, where he demonstrated his prowess in both scripting and illustrating the strip. This appointment coincided with King Features' announcement of a licensing agreement with Mad Cave Studios, marking the beginning of their collaboration to publish new "Flash Gordon" narratives, graphic novels, and reprints in the coming year.
