Middle-Aged Online Shopper in Another World Manga to Receive TV Anime Adaptation in 2025

Kadokawa announced on Saturday that Umiharu's manga adaptation, The Daily Life of a Middle-Aged Online Shopper in Another World, based on Hifumi Asakura's light novel series Arafō Otoko no Isekai Tsūhan Seikatsu with illustrations by Yamakawa, will be receiving a television anime adaptation set to debut in 2025.

The manga is published digitally by Square Enix's Manga UP! Global and Comikey, and is also available on Kadokawa's BookWalker Global Store. Manga UP! Global provides the following synopsis:

Ken'ichi, a nearly 40-year-old single man, suddenly finds himself transported to another world. As he navigates through its dangerous forests, he discovers he has access to a vast online shopping site. With this cheat ability, Ken'ichi aims to live a laid-back life in this new world!

Umiharu first launched the manga in Square Enix's Monthly G Fantasy magazine in April 2019. The main story concluded on May 17, with two additional side-story chapters released on July 18 and August 17. Square Enix published the first compiled volume of the manga in October 2019, with the seventh volume released on February 27. The eighth and final volume is set to ship on December 27.

Asakura originally launched the light novel series on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in 2017, concluding it in June 2021. SB Creative published the first volume, illustrated by Yamakawa, in May 2018, with the third volume released in April 2019.
