During the Aniplex x Kadokawa Anime Matsuri livestream event
on Friday, it was announced that Matsuri Isora's light novel series, *Silent
Witch* (Silent Witch: Chinmoku no Majo no Kakushigoto), illustrated by Nanna

The original novels began on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō (Let's Become Novelists) website in February 2020. Kadokawa started publishing the light novels in June 2021 and released the seventh volume on February 9.
Tobi Tana launched a manga adaptation in Kadokawa's B's-LOG COMIC in July 2021. The manga's fourth compiled book volume was released in Japan on May 31.
Yen Press has licensed the novels, publishing them under the title *Secrets of the Silent Witch*. The publisher describes the story as follows:
Monica Everett, known as the Silent Witch, is the only practitioner of Voiceless Magic and has earned a reputation as a heroine for single-handedly defeating the legendary Black Dragon. However, despite her formidable skills, she is extremely shy. Monica learned Voiceless Magic to avoid public speaking, and now, unaware of her true nature, the Seven Sages have tasked her with a top-secret mission to protect the Second Prince. Can she manage the pressures of social interaction while guarding the young royal against sinister forces?
Yen Press has also licensed the *Secrets of the Silent
Witch* manga adaptation by Tana, Isora, and Fujimi.
