Attack on Titan: The Final Chapters Part 2 Anime Final Trailer
Pony Canyon recently released a new trailer for the
concluding segment of the highly anticipated series, "Attack on Titan
Final Season: The Final Chapters" (Shingeki no Kyojin: The Final Season
Kanketsu-hen) Part 2. The trailer unveils that Linked Horizon will perform the
theme song titled "Nisen-nen... Moshiku wa.... Niman-nen ato no Kimi
e" (To You in 2,000... or... 20,000 Years From Now).
Scheduled to debut on November 4 on the NHK General channel
at 24:00 (effectively November 5 at midnight JST or November 4 at 11:00 a.m.
EDT), this much-anticipated anime will also be available for streaming on
various platforms including Lemino, d Anime Store, Netflix, TELASA, U-NEXT,
Amazon Prime, DMM TV, and ABEMA services in Japan. Notably, the runtime for
this episode is set at 85 minutes.
The earlier part premiered as a one-hour special on March 3
and was available for streaming on Crunchyroll as "Attack on Titan Final
Season: The Final Chapters Special 1." The series is also accessible on
Hulu, while Toonami aired the initial part on September 9. SIM, the musical
artist, has returned to present a new theme song titled "Under the
Tree."
It's important to note that the Japanese title distinguishes
Part 3 as "Shingeki no Kyojin: The Final Season Kanketsu-hen Zenpen"
denoting the first half, while Part 4 is referred to as "Shingeki no
Kyojin: The Final Season Kanketsu-hen Kōhen" signaling the second half.
The saga of "Attack on Titan: The Final Season"
originally debuted on NHK in December 2020, running for a total of 16 episodes.
Both Funimation and Crunchyroll provided the anime with English subtitles.
Subsequently, Adult Swim's Toonami programming block commenced airing the
series in January 2021, while Funimation initiated streaming the English dub in
the same month.
The Final Season's Part 2 premiered with episode 76 on the
NHK General channel in January 2022, spanning 12 episodes. Crunchyroll and
Funimation promptly streamed the second part upon its release in Japan.
The groundbreaking journey began with the first television
anime season in April 2013, followed by the second season in April 2017.
Subsequently, the first part of the third season premiered in July 2018, and
the latter half in April 2019.
Hajime Isayama introduced the original "Attack on
Titan" manga in Kodansha's Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine in 2009, culminating
the series in April 2021. The 34th and final volume of the manga was
distributed in June 2021. Kodansha USA Publishing handled the English digital
and print release, with the 34th volume hitting shelves in October 2021.
